Lake Tahoe and fresh caught fish (Part 1)

LOVE LOVE Lake Tahoe!

This is the best Summer outdoor destination for a family. Furthermore if you can go during the Fourth of July holiday and watch the firework on the lake this is the best of the best!Truly amazing!

We did some biking, hiking (10 miles), fishing, boating…… July has the perfect sunny weather and everywhere you go you are surrounded by stunning landscapes and scenic views.We Never we were tired of this exceptional natural setting. Truly magical.

During our fishing day we caught 6 trouts. My 7 years old son caught a big salmon= trout the best I never ate ( it was his first fish caught ever), my daughter and myself caught our first fish too… way smaller than the salmon one… That evening we had an simple diner: fish and rice. I coated the trouts in flour and cook it on the camping stove in olive oil. I served them with basmati rice. Since we had plenty of food we shared our meal with our next cabin-tent new friend Mary… it was a lovely day and a perfect evening!
