Young chefs will have a blast at this new fun virtual baking class!

They will bake from delicious pastry, cookies, and muffins all from scratch… Through very easy steps  and very common ingredients kids will learn basic baking techniques. These sweet treats will please the whole family.

One adult assisting his/her child in the kitchen under instructor’s Virtual supervision and guidance.

Menu 8/6   chocolate banana muffins

12 muffins

• 2 ripe banana smashed
• 1 Tbsp Brown sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 3 Tbsp milk or half half
• 3 Tbsp melted butter
• 1 1/3 cup Self rising flour ( or 1 ¼ cup all purpose flour + 1 tsp baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt)
• 1/3 cup potato starch (optional you can use all purpose flour instead)
• ½ tsp baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• ¼ cup granulated white sugar
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Equipment : 12 muffins paper cups , 1  muffins pan, several medium bowls , 1 large bowl, wooden spoon, whisk,  spatula

• 2-3 peach/plum/ apricots (mix) cut in small pieces
• vanilla extract

• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, diced
• 1/4 cup sugar
• salt

Equipment :Baking dish /Parchment paper/ aluminum foil/Bowl/ Cutting board/ knife

Menu 8/20 Famous huge Levain Chocolate chip cookies

Makes about 8-10  large cookies

• 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
• ½ cup sugar
• 1½ cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2¾ cups (12 oz) all-purpose flour
• ¾ tsp. smallish-medium coarse sea salt
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1½ tsp. baking powder
• 2¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
